The Marketing Business Management Club is a busy organization with members of Marketing Business Management students from Wabash Valley College. The club brings the “real world” to business students through participation in various activities in the community. Opportunities to network with the business community include the Chamber Mixer, the Uptown Christmas Event, WVC Job Fair, WVC Valley Days, industry and business tours, the year-end Employer Recognition, and Awards Banquet held in the WVC Red Café. The Business Club appreciates the tremendous community support from the Chamber, businesses, and individuals with all of its activities including the Fall Semester Raffle.
Throughout the year students attest to the skills developed in the various courses that are real-world skills for the business community. These skills, listed by current students, include Leadership, Marketing, Social, Human Resource, Management, Supervision, Event Planning, Promotion, Sales and more. This all happens in an interactive business classroom.
Students eligible for membership are those enrolled in Marketing Business Management programs. The purpose of the Club is to foster an educational and fraternal spirit among Marketing Business Management students, to develop and further the field of business, to serve as a binding element between alumni and current students, to interpret the duties performed in the business field, to engage in individual and group projects of a business nature, and to promote increased student interest in academic, athletic, and community projects.
